History
More than 20 years ago, Chris Arend began his career as a professional photographer in Alaska and since that time he has developed a client list which includes most of Alaska's major corporations, as well as many companies in the Lower 48. Chris has built a reputation as an award-winning and dedicated photographer, in both his commercial and artistic work. 

Experience
Chris's list of work completed for corporate clients includes ads, brochures, displays, newsletters, and annual reports. Chris is trusted by many of Alaska's largest companies to capture their "best image" on film. 

Corporate clients can present special needs for a commercial photographer -- quick turnaround, remote locations, busy workplace dynamics. When shooting on location, Chris is aware the work being done around him is important and minimizes any disruptions caused by the photographer. 

Along with producing the best image for his clients, he is flexible and professional. People like working with Chris because he listens to their needs and keeps a positive attitude to get the job done right. 

Support Staff
Chris has a full-time staff, consisting of his studio manager, associate photographer, and studio assistant to help schedule shoots and provide extra service for his clients. The studio manager keeps in touch while Chris is out on assignment, so he is readily available and rarely out of reach. Associate Photographer Kevin Smith works closely with Chris, both as an assistant and making himself available to do the shoots that Chris isn't available for. 

Long-term relationships with local photo labs enable Chris to provide the best finished photo products in the shortest amount of time.
